Flower Endowments and Regulations

Flowers, as gifts from God, serve as a profound symbol of life’s beauty and our

enduring hope for eternal life. Their placement at a loved one’s resting place is a

eloquent expression of love, respect, and remembrance—a timeless and meaningful tribute.

Flower Endowment Program

Twin Valley Memorial Park offers perpetual and annual flower endowment services to ensure your loved one’s grave or crypt is adorned with beautiful arrangements on significant dates and holidays.

Trained staff will place high-quality floral tributes appropriate to the burial type:

  • Silk arrangements for ground burials and garden crypts
  • Fresh-cut arrangements for mausoleum spaces

For your convenience, our cemetery office carries a selection of premium silk floral arrangements with Styrofoam vase inserts, available for purchase and self-placement by families.

Cemetery and Garden Crypt Flower Regulations

After March Cleanup through November 15

Only flowers placed in approved bronze vases are permitted on graves and garden crypts.

Exceptions: Additional temporary arrangements are allowed beginning the day before Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, and Father’s Day; however, these must be removed no later than one week following the holiday.

November 15 through March 1

There are no restrictions on floral placements during the winter months, with the exception that grave blankets are prohibited.

For protection against weather damage, we ask that families invert bronze vases when not in use to prevent freezing.

Annual Spring Cleanup – First Week of March

All items, including flowers, vases, and decorations, are removed from every grave and garden crypt to prepare the grounds for the new season.

The cemetery assumes no responsibility for personal items or decorations removed during cleanup.

To preserve the dignified appearance of the grounds, staff regularly remove wilted, faded, or non-seasonal floral tributes. Twin Valley Memorial Park is not responsible for theft, loss, or removal of flowers and decorations during routine maintenance or cleanup periods.

Mausoleum Flower Regulations

To maintain the dignity, cleanliness, and serene atmosphere of the mausoleum, the following regulations apply to all floral tributes:

  • Only fresh-cut live flowers are permitted in the vases provided on the flower tables.
  • Artificial flowers, silk flowers, dried or treated flowers, potted plants, plantings, colored water, or any foreign materials are strictly prohibited.

Flower Arrangement Guidelines

Five flower-preparation rooms are available throughout the building for your convenience. A variety of clean vases in different sizes are provided on the shelves in these rooms.

Personal or special vases brought from home cannot be retained or stored by the cemetery.

Memorial identification cards are available in the flower rooms. Please attach a card to your arrangement so it may be properly identified before placing it on the designated flower tables in the crypt areas.

Vases are for use within the mausoleum only and may not be removed from the building.

Holiday Considerations

During busy holidays when flower tables are full, we kindly ask

families to be considerate of others. A simple bud vase conveys remembrance and love just as meaningfully as a larger arrangement.

Twin Valley Memorial Park is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any floral arrangements or vases placed within the mausoleum.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us preserve the beauty and reverence of our indoor mausoleum spaces.
